Our goal is to remove barriers between student clubs and sponsorship opportunities. We want to help people turn their ideas into designs and builds, with more room to learn, create, and explore together.
Our starting point is sponsorship and funding discovery. From there, we want to help clubs organize, communicate, and share what they are building.

Our plan starts with funding discovery for high school and college engineering clubs. As more clubs join, we want to build a connected home for student life, teamwork, and shared ideas.

A central hub where engineering clubs can discover companies, sponsorship opportunities, grants, and other sources of project support. The goal is to help clubs find the resources to turn their ideas into designs and builds.

Find your people at school.
Students would sign up using their school email to explore a directory of their school’s clubs, discover interests, and see meeting times and locations. Clubs could make it easier for new members to find them and get involved.

Know who, when, and where.
Planned organization charts, contact directories, calendars, and meeting schedules would help members understand roles, reporting relationships, and upcoming activities—all in one place.

Keep the whole team connected.
We want clubs to communicate with their entire team inside SponSierra, sharing announcements and coordinating the work that brings their projects together.

Build in the open. Learn together.
Our longer-term goal is a discussion community where clubs post project updates and exchange ideas across schools and communities. Sponsors could discover their work and reach out. Professors could join, contribute ideas, and support or sponsor groups.

We hope to offer iOS and Android apps in the latter part of 2027. This is a development goal, not a confirmed release date.

An aviation link in the name.
Sierra is the word pilots use for the letter S in the aviation phonetic alphabet. This naming inspiration reflects Yousef’s field of study; SponSierra is focused on engineering students and clubs across disciplines.
Yousef is the founder of the idea behind SponSierra and studies aerospace engineering. The platform’s purpose is to help engineering clubs find sponsorship for their ideas, designs, and builds.

Tools to move it forward.
Frameworks provides the digital architecture, system security, data systems, and advanced company management software Yousef needs to bring his idea to life. Yousef also works with Corbin, Frameworks’ CEO, on the project. We can’t wait to see where his ideas take him next.
