Explain the change in plain language

A release number tells people that something changed, but not what the change means for them. An update should identify the milestone, the audience, and the place to find current product details. Keep technical language for the parts where it helps explain a real difference.

Separate the announcement from the instructions

A company article records a moment in the product’s story. Documentation explains how to use the current product. Link the two without asking an announcement to carry every setup instruction or future revision. That separation makes both easier to maintain.

Give questions a destination

Readers may need help after an announcement, especially if an account or subscription model changes. Name the product’s support route and keep commercial details with the current product terms. Avoid relying on an older news article as the only source of practical information.
