Check the promise against the experience

Compare the language on the product website with what someone encounters after signing in. Names, available actions, and explanations should agree. A polished introduction loses its usefulness if it describes an experience that the product no longer provides.

Review screenshots as content

A screenshot is a claim about what the product looks like. Treat it as something that needs review when a release changes the interface. Record where product imagery appears so updating one feature does not leave several pages showing an older screen.

Connect the maintenance work

Release planning can include a short communication check: website copy, images, support instructions, and relevant announcements. The goal is not to rewrite everything each time. It is to identify which pieces now need to change so the full experience stays coherent.
