Inventory what is actually there
List the current pages and the information each contains. Mark contact details, service descriptions, files, and images that appear in more than one place. The inventory should reveal what needs review, not become a perfect archive of every design detail.
Check accuracy before polishing
Confirm which services are still offered, which locations are relevant, and which examples can still be used. Good writing cannot fix an outdated offer. Resolve those facts before spending time refining headings or moving content into a new layout.
Assign each item a destination
Give existing content one of three outcomes: keep and refresh, combine with another page, or retire. For important old links, plan how visitors will reach the right replacement. A redesign is easier to follow when the content changes are intentional rather than accidental.
